So, there have been some pretty cool YouTube contests running lately, and I thought I’d take the opportunity to post some new videos with my new HD cam.

This one was mostly composed through improv. The first half or so and the last few bars were from one of the first takes I did. Things like the tapping and hybrid picking in the 2nd half were loosely played in other takes and then changed and refined along the way.

This one was done the same way, with some parts being different each time, and a few short stretches being completely improvised. The open string idea at the beginning and the end was the only thing that was 100% the same in each take.

Totally improvised except for the tapping bit at the end, which I came up with about 10 minutes before the take I kept.

Low volume issues, sorry! I forgot I had the master volume down a bit when I mixed down. This one is 100% improvised. Sorry to post this again, but my other thread got only one response, so I figured I’d include it here as one last “bump”.
