    I remembered that solo from watching/listening to that song before, and what a great solo that is too! šŸ˜‰ It’s well-crafted, melodic, and it certainly shows respect for the underlying accompaniment/chord-changes – (LOL!) This particular solo strikes me as one in which PG “composed” it as opposed to just improvising/”winging-it.” šŸ˜‰ Do you agree?

    I think this is very much composed:-) And I kind of prefer it this way. It is so much more easy to learn than say an improvised solo by YJM:-)
    And thanks for the tone comment. It is just my practise amp -an old Marshall valvestate 8240. I have used it for many gigs but now my main amp is a Randall RM80. Except for my heavy band where I use the Randall RM100 SE.
