Hey guys!

Full report coming soon with videos etc!
Just letting you know that bass player Adam Nitti’s new album ‘Liminal’ is out now – I’m featured on the track ‘Il Cuore Del Campione’. Players on the album include Alex Argento, Marco Sfogli and Marco Minnemann. Check it out at,

I just listened.
It sounds really different from what I’ve heard before, but I like it 🙂
The sax kinda had a “psychodelic”-sound to me.
That short unisono part of sax and guitar right after your guitar solo was really cool 🙂
Cool tune, Tom!Hey Tom, 🙂
Great job on Adam Nitti’s song there! The whole tune sort of reminded me of a “Wayne Shorter/Jaco/Weather Report” vibe! Good stuff! BTW, excellent job an the solo and I dug the rhythm guitar (funk) part. I assume that was you too, right?!? I like how you built the energy in that solo to the ripping arpeggiated licks followed by the nice string-skipped/intervallic line at the very end of the solo. Sweet! 😎
BTW, on a different topic, Have you ever considered doing an Infinite Guitar Tutorial on:
Total Funk Rhythm Guitar – chordal & single-note techniques & ideas; chord vocabulary; (dominant, sus, and minor, drop-voicings/comping, etc.) muting & scratching techniques; use of space, common effects; (compression, envelope filter, wah-wah) etc.
When I hear classic guitar tracks like “Le Freak (Freak Out)” (Nile Rodgers) or cuts like “Sex Machine” & “Mother Popcorn” by James Brown, or even some dance tracks like “Get On Your Feet” by Gloria Estafan or “Lucky Star” by Madonna? (I don’t like Madonna’s voice, but the rhythm guitar track is incendiary!) I can’t help but think how COOL those rhythm guitar parts are! I know that a lot of guitarists probably don’t think of this stuff as worthy of a Tom Quayle Tutorial, but I disagree!!! First of all, I think that this style of rhythm can make anyone a better all-around musician, (regardless of preferred genre) and I think you (T.Q.) are a helluva good funk-player! 😉 😎
Well, what do you think of that idea Tom? 😉
BTW, sorry for almost hijacking your thread! 😮 You did a SUPER JOB on A.N.’s song!;)

Tom,
Fantastic playing all around. Its like Chick Corea meats the Wooten’s on steroids.
Challenging project for sure.
Congratulations and we look forward for the bonus materials you mentioned.Wow, listening to some of the tracks now. I had never heard Nitti’s music before, but man, this stuff is GREAT. Love the songwriting, love the groove.
Awesome job on that solo too Tom. Very smooth and tasteful!

Which I’m trying to break it down…even if I really think the very first lead you did was much better than the one ended up on the record. Really love your playing on this one brother, I have it on loop!;)
