What is you preferred console and favourite games?

Occasionally I play Enemy Territory and the new version ET:Quake Wars, also the older Quake Games. All on PC of course.
World of Warcraft was a stage I went through aswell, but the time involved is too much for me. I preffer FPS style games where you can just log in, shoot the place up for 20 mins and be satisfied. If I had hours and hours to spare every day maybe I would play online more š
Someday a Play Station might be a bit of fun. A freind of mine has Guitar Hero which is great. However it seems a bit counter productive on the other hand. Why spend hours and hours getting good at playing some classic solo on a console when you can spend hours on a real instrument and actually play it yourself!!
It’s still a great game though.. How about yourself Rick?
I mostly play FPS. A few years ago i dived into Vietcong – played it for around 2 years with my friends online, had clans and stuff, than my clan joined another international clan and we moved to Battlefield 2. Played BF2 for around a year and a half and now we moved to Call Of Duty 4. I quit the clan and just play with my closest friends, i even have my own server running for COD4 – dedicated-paying server of course.
I’m also a big fan of strategy games like Cossacks, Tiberium Wars.
Forgot to mention – i only play on PC.

I started with a sega master system back in 1988 and moved onto different consoles throughout the
nineties such as the sega mega drive and then sega Saturn then switched to PS1 and then PS2.I haven’t played much throughout this decade so far but I started playing again when a friend of mine peruaded me to start playing WOW. I really enjoyed that but quickly realised that If I want my relationship with my GF to continue, I had better quit sharpish! :p
I did buy myself a nintendo Wii last year and that’s pretty cool. Haven’t found much time to play it tho’.
Ohh the master system!!! those were the days. I didn’t get my hands on it untill the early 90’s though š
I will say one thing about that console. Alex The Kid!!!!!!!!! fun fun fun fun fun fun fun
Hey Mike, never played that game man. I was obsessed with ‘Shinobi’ and a few others. I had the ‘Rocky ‘ game which I thought was amazing at the time. I found this review of it on youtube
Damn funny :p
After I got a good computer again I started playing Oblivion. Really fun, addictive, even scary at times.
On the other hand I like all the old RPG’s from the 90’s. All the way back to the 80’s even. The story of the games were just much better it seemed. Maybe the producers focused more on the storyline rather than graphics.
When it comes to none-RPG’s I really enjoy Pro Evolution Soccer (Best soccer/european football game out there!), as well as SKATE.
In the good old days I used to play a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog. I had so many different versions of that game. It has to be one of the best games in history alongside Super Mario, which I didn’t play much, as I were into SEGA and not Nintendo. I used to play Columns too. Great Tetris-like game!
Here is another funny video about Super Mario

Yeah man I love PES def one of the, if not THE best football game out there. I also loved sonic and spent many a night whiling away the hours on that one.
Well I’ve only got a PS2 console wise, but my memory card wiped itself a few weeks back so I’ve just been trudging back through all my games. Although I’m pretty damn awesome at Halo.
On the PC though I play things like Rome: Total War, Dawn of War+expansions, strategy games mostly. I also play EVE Online, which satisfies so many nerdy needs is like nerd sex; spaceships, guns, games. Excellent.
EDIT: Oh yeah me and my mates are total Pro Evo nutters. Many a drunken game of that.

My gaming started with cassette tapes and the mighty ZX Spectrum 48K – games like Jet Set Willy, School Daze, Knight Lore, Airwolf – ahh – them were t’days!
Graduated up to PS2 but didn’t really devote that much time too it. I did think The Getaway was great though!
Final Fantasy, forgot those. I’ve got VI to X-2 for ps1/ps2. Completed 7 about 8 times now.
I’m a big fan of FF as well. Got all games from I to XII š
I have been known to play Ghost Recon and Fear on pc (I’m pretty good at these games) but I’m not very good at games over all lol
