I got into FZ back in 1992 when a friend of mine played me sheik yerbouti. I’ve loved the guy ever since
Any fans here?

I’ve been known to listen to the occasional Zappa tune. ‘Hot Rats’ is a pretty sweet album, i like the horn section in Peaches. I not really into his comedy side though. His instrumental stuff is where it’s at.
Actually, I’ve been looking around for more of his instrumental stuff
Any recommendations?
I Like Zappa but find I have to be in the mood to listen to him.. but yea definitely a fan of his music
I got really into Zappa a few years ago. It’s not something that I have on every day but still something I come back to consistently.200 motels was great!
I recently…within the past year or so really started to listen to Zappa. I don’t know much of his music yet but I do enjoy what I have heard so far.
Go back and check out Apostrophy’/Overnight Sensattion. ……One Size Fits All..You will enjoy them.
Zappa explored so many musical bounderies for me, without him i porobably wouldnt be into so much fusion and experimental music as i am. so yea, huge fan:)
BTW. if you like Zappa check out Edgard Varese, one of Zappas main influences=)
Zappa is the man!!
AndyHi guys,
Frank Zappas’ music is complex, full of musical vurtuosity, nuts, and hilarious all at once. I’ve listened to Zappa music for many years. Now Dweezil is carrying the Zappa torch. I think it’s great.
Frank
I got into Zappa predictably because of Vai (“Ship Arriving too late to save a Drowning Witch” period) and as with Vai himself I do have to be in the mood to listen to him – but he is one of the truly original musicians of our time š
