Hey guys! This Friday (March 21) i had my audition at Berklee! It was awesome! i did really good, except for the sight reading and the chords hehe 😀 but yeah i did good imo. The place is so amazing, loots of cool people from everywhere with all kinds of instruments and different approaches and thoughts about music, its an amazing place! The faculty is really nice and make you feel comfortable about the place!
Ouch .. I wana go there too … Do you need 2 years of professional music lessons prior to going to Berklee?
You would probably need some lessons (Sight reading etc…)but I dont think you need 2 years of professional lessons… obviously the more you know going there the more it would help you to get a place, but saying that I’m sure there are lots of musicians that were self thought before going there..

Not necessarily. but IMO, it would help. I hear they are getting pretty damn selective in the audition process. Like Bill said, the more you know, the better off you are going to be.
