    Ridiculous.

    I think both of them are very funny. the show went out after the watershed. The girl involved is a member of a burlesque group called the “Satanic Sluts”. BBC only received 3 complaints on the night and they were only about the swearing. Then the daily mail started a story about it. then the idiots who read that rag started sending in complaints.Then the number of complaints (by people who’ve never listened to the show) went through the roof.

    Brand has resigned and now so has the controller of Radio 2. completely ridiculous and over the top reaction fueled by the scum-rag The Daily Mail.

    Certainly agree with you on the media frenzy surrounding the whole thing Mandz.
    Can’t deny that if I was on the receiving end of the messages I’d want to pay a short but sweet visit to them both tho.

    I’ve never found Brand or Ross funny, and this is no different. Why did they honestly think that this would be funny? And, why was it broadcast even though Andrew Sachs didn’t give them permission? It’s ridiculous. I’m glad Wossie got the 3 month ban without pay, although 1.5 mil probably won’t be a massive loss to him considering his annual pay.

    Oh yeah, and why Manuel? Everybody loves Manuel šŸ˜€
