Finally it arrived -> 1.1.2009 it was here! Took me a year and a half to stay patient and just WAIT!
Opinion? The best guitar i EVER played! Not because i own it, but because IT IS! The neck is thinner than JEM’s, super fast, comfortable, very comfortable bridge to apply my picking style (or better to say – Rusty’s picking style), stays in tune perfectly, EMG’s make it scream. You have to try it to believe it
Oh and btw. Rusty signed it for me personally, and the poster as well! Now that’s some luck, huh?

Dude, that guitar is absolutely awesome!! I know how long you’ve been waiting for it man and I’m glad you finally have it! Very cool that he signed it for you too.
Be sure to let us know if you ever make some audio or video clips with it!
Pavel, š
That’s sweet bro! You’ll do that axe some serious justice! Be sure to post some vids man. I miss your smooth picking influence, and I still do your “Pinky Training” Tutorial regularly! š
Best of luck! š
BTW, is this your first 7-string, or did you ever have a JEM or something (I know you have a 6-string JEM obviously!) š
~Bill Meehan~ š
Thanks Bill!
This is my first 7-string and i am already addicted to it. I have my last exam next Wednesday, and after that i’ll have more time to play and will post a vid or two.
I hope that Pinky Training helped you a bit š
Cheers, see you around the forum! š
Now that is a serious axe there Pavel š congrats hope to hear some tunes from you both soon:)
Sweet SWEET looking guitar dude!!! I know they cost a pretty penny so i would buy an alarm of some sort so if anyone gets within 15ft of it you know. Rusty Cooley came up with some good ideas on his guitars, like cutting away more of the body so you can get a better reach. Super thin necks.
Congrats man!!
Vacca dio!!! Your guitar looks beautiful and aggressive as hell at the same time. Congratulations!!!!!
Thanks guys! I’m playing it every day now and it’s such an amazing guitar to play – love it š

Hey Pavel, š
I really miss your smooth “shredding-style.” Your “wrist-only” picking technique is (IMO) the benchmark for me to aspire to! š How about posting a little shred session (even if just a short little improv or something?) We’d love to see you all inspired on your new baby!!! š
P.S. If you post a little shred on your new RC7, then I’ll post myself playing your old “Pinky Training” tutorial (minus a few BPM’s of course!!! – LOL!) Do we have a deal? š
~Bill Meehan~ š
Yeah man, I’ll record something very soon. I promise. You know I’m a perfectionist, I like it all to be perfect before showing around.
Right now I’m in the process of rearranging my website, and having some vids there is part of the goal. I haven’t played guitar for a couple of days now, have no time š I’m hoping to grab it tomorrow to practice a few hours.
Btw. I’m really glad you’re liking my picking, I’ll work on including some AP stuff in the video š
Cheers m8, rock on!Yo bro, sweet guitar. I’m gunna look for the sound when you shred that.
Also, for everyone out there. i found a sweet spot you can ask Rusty a question and dude will answer you back in a video. Check it….Def. not a fan of rusty, but it’s a nice guitar. I hope you’ll have fun!
