Just out of interest Rick, did you enter this?
There are some names I’m really surprised not to see. I thought Chris Feener would of been one for sure :OHey Rick, š
I know you’re NOT responsible to keep track of everyone who entered the Dean Shredder contest, but I was curious if you knew whether or not Danielle Gottardo (from Italy) entered? Our buddy Lyle Watt turned me on to Danielle in a YouTube exchange that we had several weeks back, and he blows me away with his chops AND his advanced Harmonic & Melodic sensibilties! I think he’s a player to keep an eye on in the VERY near future. I believe it’s just a matter of time for “Gottyboy!” š
I assume you’ve heard of Daniele, correct?

Bill, yes I’ve heard of Daniele. I was in London at the time of the Guitar Idol finals so saw him play. He clearly has a lot of talent and is a great technician of course but his playing does leave me cold I have to admit. But as I said, a very talented player.

Hi Bill.
‘Gottyboy’ did indeed enter, his entry is here :http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=H35fBjI8j0g
To echo Rick’s sentiments I have huge amounts of respect for him but his playing doesn’t really grip me too much. I do think he should have been in the top 15 though, as that was one of the most impressive entries I seen ( on a technical level)

Big congrats to a great player and great guy Muris!
Rick,
Muris came in 4th, correct? That is quite an accomplishment! Do you know him?
~Bill Meehan~
I haven’t followed this contest at all so these top 4 are pretty much the only ones I’ve seen. Didn’t particularly like any of them, but congrats to those guys anyway! š
