…And if so, what are there names? And why did you choose them?

    Mine would be as follows:

Ibanez: Tatyana, My favorite name for a woman, (If i have a daughter, I will name her this i hope), And its the secret identity of the character EVA in the game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Dean Schenker V: Warbringer, Named after the band, and the fact that i tend to play a lot of thrash stuff on it

Washburn Dime V: Unas, after the Nile song “Unas, Slayer Of The Gods”, and because its in a perpetual state of tuned in Drop A

Jackson JS40: Spare Parts, well….you can guess why…

I think if any of my guitars had a name it would be ‘ hrmm ‘. Since I always seem to make that sound before I pick one up :p

If they’re worth owning I give them a name. I also name my cars though, so I’m just weird like that (current car is Helen)

Ibanez GAX – Agnes (first guitar)
Agile 3000 Prestige – Angila (stolen)
    Samick – Samantha (main axe)
    Telecaster – Stacie
    AXL Wavepoint – Alice

    Strat – No name
Kit guitar gift – No name
Ibanez RG gift – No name

I should probably name the RG, it’s a good guitar, my brothers first electric. Floyd rose, locking nut, dual humbuckers. fast neck. Just doesn’t sound very good. Terrible pickups. I’d been trying to sell it but nobody wants to pay $200 for a guitar that sold for $450 origonally and now sells for $600 new… Oh well. For $200 I’ll keep her then.

The strat doesn’t have a name because she’s not mine, but my best friends. He used to never let me play it because it was his baby. After 10 years of me telling him how terrible fenders are he gave it to me for safekeeping while he took is 80’s ibanez hollow body with him to college. Good boy.

The kit guitar was a guitar given to me that’s a strat body with a jackson neck. Real floyd rose, and a locking nut, but the nut was drilled abuot 1/16th off center so the strings sit off. I was going to rebuild it but lost steam after doing all the hard work (reshaped the entire body). I tend to get upset when my workspace get’s messy as it’s hard to just dive in, and once the project was burried and had other things going I just forgot about it. I’ll probably just put it back together without fixing the big issues and give it to some kid as a starter guitar.
