Hello, I am Michael from Athens, Greece.

I was seeing this amazing site for quite some time and I finaly decided to sing up. I see so many great players here, Tom Quayle, Rick Graham, Chris Feener (who I remember from the Petrucci forums like 5 years ago.), Martin Miller and so many others. I am so stoked by the amount of lessons I can get, so it’s actually a must to sign up.
    3 month subscription.

I want to get into fusion style mostly, if you could suggest with which lesson I should start, I would be glad.

    Thanks a lot,
    Michael.

Hey welcome aboard Michael! Good to have another Petrucci forum member. šŸ™‚ If you’re here for fusion material I think you’ll be busy for a while, tons of great stuff. I’d recommend using the Lesson Search to find the fusion tutorials that interest you…when you go to the Lesson Search page, select “Tutorials” in the Search Type box, then select “Fusion” in the Style box…and that should give you a rundown of the fusion-focused tutorials here as well as their difficulty levels. May want to start with the intermediate stuff then work your way up to advanced/crazy depending on your current skill level.

Have fun man and see you around!

I already got into the Hybrid Picking Lesson Sequences. Amazing stuff.

Hey Mike, welcome to IG! A fellow Suhr player? I’m sure we’ll get along great! Or perhaps I already know of you? Do you have a youtube account?

Fusion is my primary interest, so hopefully I can help you out, and vice versa! šŸ™‚

Hey Steve, really honored to have you respond on my thread. Your playing is phenomenal and your tone is amazing.

Yeah, got my first Suhr some time ago, an S6, and is propably the best guitar I have ever played. Everyone was saying how good Suhrs are but I wouldn’t believe them, ’till I tried one.
I asked you some time ago, about your tone in of your videos on youtube. I have an account, but just one video of mine, with a bit sloppy cover of a KSE song. Nothing fancy.

I’ve always been a 3 note per string kinda player when it came to linear playing. Recently, I decided to swim into deep waters and try to get into fusion. So the whole 4 note per string legato and hybrid picking, are kinda new to me. So I am trying to explore these areas. I started with Richard Lundmark’s hybrid sequences, really cool stuff. I am still on example 1 but I am getting there. Hopefully, the next few days I will have been able to play most of the examples cleanly.

So Steve, if you got any lessons to recommend me to start with, it will be more than welcome.

P.S I never expected so good players to talk to me. šŸ˜€

P.S . #2 There are so many lessons, I can’t really choose, hehe.
