Hey guys, my name is Mauro, I’m 22, from Argentina. Just thought I’d drop a note and introduce myself…
I’ve been playing guitar for about 10 years now, but I’m not very well rounded, so I joined to get what I need to (hopefully) take my guitar playing to the next level.
My main influences are the old school thrash metal (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer), progressive music (Dream Theater, Tool, Porcupine Tree, Pain of Salvation) and grunge (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains). I need to learn more of the blues, jazz, country, all those things that are (for now) outside my scope, and I really dug the free lessons so here I am.
I’m currently studying music, and (again, hopefully) by the end of the year I’ll be majored in Composition.
