Welcome Vinman, I took the time to check out your blog. I really enjoyed the article about vertical and horizontal growth. It reminded me of myself, I thought I was making pretty decent vertical growth a few years back and then hit a plateau, I got discouraged and really didn’t pick up the guitar for quite some time. I felt helpless and lost motivation. I never had a teacher and couldn’t afford to get lessons. It took some time before I picked up the guitar again. I’m glad I did because now I feel like I’m making progress faster than I ever did and have gotten great amounts of satisfaction from it. Anyway Vin, I enjoyed reading through your blog, it was very informative.

thx a lot etcetera .. feels good to be appreciated for what you write …
as a matter of fact i went through the same thing .. that blog is probably the one thing that keeps me going and motivates me to learn some new licks and lessons .. i was off for close to 3 yrs ..
i guess it’s not possible to take somthin like guitars out of ur system š ..and i agree that when u take a long break and pick up the guitar again it does feel better .. for me it was especially with picking, which used to demotivate me earlier .. but once i started it’s gettin better and better
Welcome to IG Vin!
