Wow! That was really well performed.

I’ve been learning this song for the past few months now from the Beatles Fingerstyle book. It’s a very basic arrangement meant for beginners but it sounds good. Most of the fingerings are in the first position.

I’m purchasing a Shure SM57 Mic and a M-Audio preamp soon, and then I will record my performance. ๐Ÿ˜€

    Cheers!

    Hey Alp, ๐Ÿ™‚

That was quite simply GORGEOUS!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Most of The Beatles’ songs are SO GOOD, that you can see that many different types of arrangements (Jazz Fingerstyle in this case) can be effective! For example, I could see this song being recorded as:

    1.) a Folk/Pop Ballad (exactly as The Beatles did…obviously!)
2.) a Fingerstyle Jazz-Instrumental, (as you so beautifully have – via Martin Taylor’s awesome arrangement!)
    3.) a Willie Nelson-delivered country-ballad!
    4.) a Double-Time Power-Punk-Pop tune, (a la Green Day/Blink 182!)
    5.) a Frank Sinatra/”Strings-Soaked” Crooner hit!

…And the list could go on, and on, and on…!

The Bottom Line: A great song is a great song, and a great melody/harmony-combination knows NO STYLISTIC/GENRE’S BOUNDARIES!

    Well done my friend! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hey there Alp; very nice arrangment I heard and saw by you.
Would you happen to have a original score by Martin taylor?
I would like to study it.
I seem to notice you have another pitch on your guitar?
