Well I just found this site after seeing Rick playing an amazing solo on youtube.Have seen Rick online for many years and indeed we have both added each others website links to our own sites as a friendly nod

Been playing in a couple of bands now for some time and most of the time is spent playing riffs and chords-dont get me wrong I love it and its great fun rehearsing and playing with them 4 nights a week but I want to expand my leadwork in other directions so this site seems the perfect place to brush up on old techiniques and learn new ones

after typing this I’m heading over to the dude from leeds lessons to borrow some ideas and check out rick and the other Instructors

Cheers Bill and Sean.Already learnt a lot last night by watching Toms outside playing vids.he explained it so well and easily-straight away by understanding the greg howe 4th bar system I could do some realy cool fusion playing.Never heard it explained like that before,I used to do the slide up or down way and whole tone scale or anything goes but the 4th bar is great and very greg howe!
anyway thanks for the welcome guys
