I have been playing guitar for around 7.5 years now. I had lessons for 4 of those years. They didn’t stress classical training as much, mostly just focused on me learning songs i like, which is a shame but who knows, maybe I would have been burnt out.

Anyways, I have decided that I should be a lot more capable on the guitar than I am which is why I signed up!
I am very excited. I have been focusing on the jazz and theory sections.
Im going to have to agree with Bill. I found this site and not 2 days later did it pull me out of the funk i was in. The instructors here are next to none, they will help you as much as possible, which is great, because they just shove it in your face and give you the realities, while still being nice about it. In the long run it helps tremendously with your fortitude up picking up your ax and playing!!!
This is definitely a great place to learn. It’s really a unique teaching site, and anything you could want to learn is in here. Plus they each take a unique approach to teaching the material.

To be honest, this is the first time I’ve signed up for guitar lessons, so you can mistake it for enthusiasm. But I’ve already proven myself wrong. The guitar lessons are of top quality. The explanation text is just right – not too long or short. The killer point is this forum where you can interact with each instructor. Awesome!
