IG Tutorial Request!

Hello All, 🙂

Although I’m sure that ANY of our fine Infinite Guitar Instructors could do an excellent job making a tutorial about the following, perhaps our new resident funk-fusion-shredder from Canada – Steve Hubbard – could tackle this one?!? :confused:

My request is for a tutorial(s) on Clean Funk/Dance-Rhythm Guitar! I’m talking “in-the-style-of” anything by James Brown or Tower of Power, Chic/Nile Rodgers -“Le Freak”, and even stuff like old-Madonna – “Lucky Star” or Gloria Estefan -“Get On Your Feet.” (Hey, don’t laugh! These tunes have some KILLING rhythm guitar in them!) Then I was also thinking of the “funky-fusion comping” of guys like Mike Stern too! I’m probably in the minority with this stuff, but in the past, when I have worked on stuff like this, it seems like my timing, rhythm, and articulation in general all benefitted! 😉

Well…Any takers on the Infinite Guitar Staff?!? (That’s right, dig up some old polyester-shirts & bell-bottoms, grab that strat, shut off the distortion, and get Fuuunnkkkkkaaaayyyy – LOL!) 😀
