Great playing and technique man! Noobs like myself aspire to play like you. Keep the vids coming and keep shredding!
thanks for the nice comments , much appreciated š
Hello col hicks, š
AWESOME chops man! I wish I could shred like that – SERIOUSLY! That would be so cool! Your wanting to learn fusion is very admirable, and I’m sure that you’ll do great with the fusion once you train your ears to hear the denser harmony, and you discipline your mind to learn the requisite theory associated with fusion (chord vocabulary, major-scale modes, melodic minor-scale modes, functional & non-functional harmony, improvisation studies in phrasing and ear-training, etc!) It’s all here at this site man, and you’re gonna LOVE IT! I can’t wait until your MAD-CHOPS get a hold of Tom Quayle’s (and some of the other IG Instructor’s) tutorials, and you start combining the two worlds (shred with jazz-fusion!) You could end up being similar to a (latter-day) Greg Howe, Guthrie Govan, Allan Holdsworth, Brett Garsed, or……Tom Quayle himself, etc! š š
Best of luck, and be sure to post some new clips once you start applying your newfound knowledge and abilities! š

Great technique dude! I heard some Vinnie Moore and Tony Macalpine influences in there š
