    In my (very personal) opinion though, you should throw the
    EMG’s to hell if you wan tot play anythign by 100% full blast distortion,
    they sound like crap semi-distorted and clean, sorry bro šŸ™‚
    WHy not opt for the pickups Meshuggah themselves use?
    Swedish Lundgren pickups, will make the guitar MUCH more usable tone-wise.

    i know lungdren rule. but… they are pretty expensive to import here in argentina… at that time i didn’t had enought money so i went with the emg. someday i’ll replace it.

    That was totally awesome Andres. I love the rhythm patterns in that song, and you played it all spot on. The 8-string is looking great as well!
