    One word : LUSH!

    that’s wicked finish man šŸ™‚
    so, do tell;
    1. What’s it like compared with the Flaxwood and Ibanez?
2.) What did it set you back for (with shipping, customs, taxes and such).

    Hey Rick, šŸ™‚

I know Ben said one word: “Lush,” which is true, but I’ll add another word: “Gorgeous!” šŸ˜Ž

Great players do deserve great instruments, and with with your current roster (Flaxwood, Ibanez, and now Suhr!) you’ll continue to make sweet music! šŸ˜‰

    ENJOY! šŸ˜€

I can smell it from here!
    HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to you Rick!
    You earned it for sure.

Congrats Rick! As Richard inquired, you mind disclosing some financial info (you can keep it approximate, of course) of the purchase?

Great pics and keep making evil music!

    Cheers!

    Ouch šŸ˜
    Congratz man.
That’s one lovely looking guitar Rick. Any chance of a demo video over the next few days?
I can’t wait to hear you play it!
    Cheers

Just gorgeous man. I love the natural look it has. I think some guitars are very inspirational music-wise simply with how they look, and this guitar is definitely one of those kinds.

    Can’t wait to hear it!

Thanks a lot for the congrats guys!! This guitar is exceptionally good, the resonance is incredible. I sat for hours the night I got it playing unplugged and the sound is unreal.

Some vids coming very soon I promise šŸ™‚

Richard – Not A/B’d it against the Ibby and Flaxwood yet but will do soon. The MSRP came to $3900 but suffice it to say I got a pretty good deal šŸ˜‰

Frank – The pups are Suhr Aldrich.

    Hey Rick, šŸ™‚

I’m not surprised that you played it unplugged for a few hours when you first got it, because I know how much value you place on the acoustical-properties of your electric guitars! BTW, when I reviewed the Flaxwoods that were in-stock at Performance Music Center, (where I teach) I was particularly blown away by the acoustical-resonance of the Flaxwood guitars, so if your new Suhr is equally or even moreso resonant, then you’ve surely got yourself a winner! šŸ˜‰ Oh also Rick, I never shared this with you, (as I just found this out very recently) but I found out recently that Steve Vai’s two favorite Ibanez Jems are designated his favorites because of their particular resonance and “resonant-harmony between their necks and bodies” – as I believe he worded it ( I might be paraphrasing slightly here, but that’s the gist of it! ) So Rick, I guess great minds (your’s and Vai’s!) think alike! – (LOL!) šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜Ž

Can’t wait to soon hear your Suhr demos Rick! šŸ˜Ž
