What the heck….I’ll post this for the fun of it and a little bragging rights! šŸ˜€

Last year I played guitars on my friend, Chris Orazi’s project called “Dream Taxi”.

We got played on XM radio one night and we squealed like littler girls with excitement. The track that XM played was “A World Too Far”.

I play guitars on most of the other tracks as well. My favorite being “Angels over Phoenix” just my classical doing a simple ditty in the background while Chris played some keys and added some synth. We discussed making a much larger piece of music out of this for our next project.

My daughter performs all the vocals on “The Village” which was inspired by a true story about a girl in Africa who is forced by the government, against her wishes, to leave the city and return the village of her grandparents. The government did not want certain persons in the city and wanted to reduce the population within. Each person had an ID “card” that stated where they must return to. Thus, the chorus section. My long time teacher Herb Moore plays the outro solo. Herb was teaching Ed King (Skynyrd) when I was taking lessons from Ed. http://www.herbmoorejazz.com Herb is now playing in Cape May NJ with Al DiMeola’s keyboard player, Barry Miles.

Jacques is a friend who played accordion on the track “Mushroom Hill”.
Go to his myspace site and listen…he is a true virtuoso. So much passion in his playing.
Members,Yann is a great percussionist as well as Diego being an amazing Sax player.
We had a great blues jam session in my house the night before they played Chris’s Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia. Check them out.

Wow Enrico, you’ve networked with some really great musicians. Thanks a lot for sharing this stuff. I really like the many textures on Chris’ album. Great work on the guitar material. The snippet of “Angels over Phoenix” is really beautiful too.

Jacques and his band are amazing as well. I feel like I’m dead center in the middle of France when listening to that music. Great stuff.

    Thanks again for sharing!

    Sean,
Thank you so much. I’ll be sure to share that with Chris and Jacques.
I’m just fortunate to have a best friend who owns a very busy studio and has great connections.
Perhaps we’ll pull you and some of the IG crew into the next project!!?? That could be fun.

    Thanks again Sean.

Thank you Rick! I’ll be sure to let Chris Orazi know about some of the feedback.
