Remember this will be rerecorded properly so try to ignore the dodgy audio quality. Feedback welcome

Ah…I remember seeing an extract of this song on your youtube page, I was hoping I would see it developed further! š
It sounds totally amazing man, I can’t give you any constructive criticism cause there’s nothing that I could even mention that needs improving!
Awesome dude.. that open string idea that starts at 3:56 is killer! This is cool man, your melodies are always superb to most guitar players out there.
Tone is quite tasty too š If that is a pod tone.. mind sharing the patch? šHey Ben, thanks for checking it out bro! Appreciate your kind words too man š
Glad you like it TJ, yeh it’s the xt live as usual(through a focusrite trakmaster pre). As soon as I hook it up back to the mac where I do all of my tone tweakin’, it’s yours.
Super track š
I especially like the “intro” with the clean sound.Wow Rick.. very very sweet intro… sounds floydish:cool: seriously good stuff and when the main song kicks it has a sweet groove… that tune has gotta be on your next album !!
Ahh…great stuff for my ears…
Amazing tune Rick, your sense for melody amazes me every time (among other things).
Perfect.
Oh yes, I remember this one very vividly from one of your youtube video improvisations. I was wondering when the entire thing would see the light of day.
You never cease to amaze me Rick, you really do. If you ever come to the U.S and end up in Wisconsin, give me a shout and we’ll go jam. š
Hey Rick! š
Outstanding stuff as usual! Such cool melodies! There are so many cool parts, that I can’t pick a favorite (which is good, because I love the whole song! š Ben mentioned that open-string (two-handed, I believe) lick (at like 3:50,) and that part is AWESOME, but I also liked the open-string stuff you did about 50 seconds before that where you were picking a lot of notes and using some open-strings as pedal-tones?!? Great stuff! š
Please keep us all up-to-date on your LP’s progress and E.T.A.!!!
You are The Best! š
~Bill Meehan~
Thanks a lot guys, I is glad you like š
Robert – for sure man, Love to jam dude.
BillM – I’ll be sure to keep you all posted on the progress of the thing that has been hounding me for a couple years now š
I also recognize the main melody from before. Awesome tune Rick! Your stuff is brilliant as always!!
(Although nothing will top that “Pink” video you did;))
Nice track. Feels like pure domination mode! š When is your album due? Hope it would be available as a digital download.
Rickster!!! I’ll keep this simple………..your amazing!!!! So much of what you play has it ALL, style technique and feel. You my friend are a truely amazing player!!! RAIN..OWNS!!!!
hi Rick,
there was a track called “DT Awake” that rocked; do you plan on putting that one on an album?maestro41;7193 wrote:hi Rick,
there was a track called “DT Awake” that rocked; do you plan on putting that one on an album?Ah, that was written by Mark Moore aka DT Awake from the JP forum. Well, he supplied the backing track for people to do stuff over. I ended up doing the complete track with lots of harmonies and guitar lead lines, it took tons of work I can tell ya. So, no this won’t be as I didn’t write it. I’ve just finished recording the lead parts to my latest demo, I’m just waiting on my keyboard player to send me his parts and I’ll be posting it here for you guys to check out. Stay tuned………;)
