Ha! I know that feeling. I get that feeling every time I listen to anything written by Kurt Rosenwinkel! Monster musician.
Thanks for that by the way. Glad you like the song!

Wow Rick does it yet again lol thats fantastic!! great melodies and great tone š
Rick,
Outstanding tone & melodicism! (Is that even a word? – hmmm…) Great stuff. This got me to thinking about your influences a bit, and it seems that you’ve REALLY been influenced by a lot of atypical sources like film-score and video-games even! Question: Have you ever been involved in a film-score project of any sort? If so, then what was it, (if you don’t mind divulging) and if not, then would you consider such projects in the future? It just seems like the diversity of your abilities & influences, as well as your apparent love of film, TV, and video-games, all seem like a perfect synergy for film-score and/or soundtrack composition & performance/recording. Any thoughts?

I think is possibly some of the best stuff i’ve heard in a while..

Apologies for the delay in responding, this one slipped past me…….
Thanks as always Bill for your comments, you are a highly valued member here at IG!
I have been hugely influenced by TV, Film and video game music. I’d have to say that the majority of music I have written doesn’t suit the guitar instrumental genre at all and TBH, I tend to ruin a lot of my stuff by putting guitar solos in them! I haven’t as yet been involved in writing for those media but I would jump at the chance to do it if ever the opportunity presented itself.
Who knows or dares to dream…………..? š
