Hey guys!
I couldn’t resist having a go so here’s my first take over this awesome tune.
I’ll do a shred one next. This one’s a little more restrained.

this, sir, is sickening!
Man..thats some awesome playing!!
AndyTom!! Your playing is pure “awesomeness” defined!! 0:23 to 0:28 is just amazing…how long do you think mere mortals like me will have to practice to pull off that 5 second legato run??
About the ToadWorks Texas Flood….would you call that a distorion pedal or an OD/Boost pedal? Is it more “Fender than Marshall” voiced?? Are you using any delay, reverb or other modulation effects?
Once again thanks for sharing your music with us……
cheers,
AjayThat is indeed some tasty playing, and I’m lovin’ the tone!
Hey Tom, š
How did I know that “YODA” was gonna put on a “Dorian-Fusion” clinic with this tune! š I love how you played through the |B7#9|E7#9| turnarounds too! That was pure Melodic and Harmonic GENIUS my friend! š
As I said to Chris Brooks, it’s probably a good thing (for overall moral!) that you guys CAN’T enter! – (LOL!) š
Thanks for sharing this Tom! š I found this to be very inspiring, and I can’t wait to see/hear your “un-restarined/shred” version! – (LOL!) š
~Bill Meehan~ š
Tom, you simply terrify me š
Great playing Tom, just love how you improvise š
I have a question to ask you ! do you always play/improvise in 4ths tuning ?@Jad Diab 10024 wrote:

I have a question to ask you ! do you always play/improvise in 4ths tuning ?Hello Jad, š
I could be wrong, and I’m NOT answering on behalf of Tom Quayle, but I believe that Tom is in “fourths-tuning” all-the-time EXCEPT when he’s privately teaching either beginners or those who prefer standard-tuning. Again, I’m NOT 100% sure of this, but this is my understanding…;)
Tom is amazing though, isn’t he? WOW! I could listen to him play all day (and sometimes I do!) š š

Yeah that’s what I noticed when I checked out his lessons š it must be difficult to know our fretboard in two different tunnings !!
