IMO, its one of the most beautiful instrumental albums I’ve recently heard. Of course, I’ve been listening to it for over two months now!

I’ve heard he’s got an instructional DVD out too to support this album or vice versa. Smart guy! Some of the videos are available on youtube.

You know, I’ve been wanting to pick this up for a while now, but for some reason I keep forgetting about it. I think Paul Gilbert is terrific! Obviously he shreds with the best of them, but he has also never lost that “15-year-old-dreamer-in-his-bedroom” mentality, and I think it comes across in his writing, his performing, AND his teaching (which BTW, is EXCELLENT!) Thanks for reminding me about this, and I will surely pick it up right after I get out of work later today! Cheers!

I saw Paul Gilbert for the first time at the LIMS this year. I was totally blown away! What tone, what style, what technique, what humour, what tunes! The guy was truly awesome.
