Great job Rohan! Pavel would be proud. Hopefully he catches this thread at some point.

    Hey Ro, šŸ™‚

AWSOME JOB BRO!!! Really well done! This is NOT an easy piece to play either! That’s great that you tackled this piece, because difficult projects like this (which you appear to have the patience and tenacity to conquer) make you a better player/musician! šŸ˜‰

Keep up the great work! šŸ˜Ž

P.S. I need to eventually post my “Pavel’s Pinky Training” performance! Thanks for reminding me! šŸ˜®

    Thanks guys, for the comments.

My left hand is hurting pretty bad today considering the amount of takes it took me to record this video, as well as the fact that I’m practicing Sean’s Premonition lesson regularly. šŸ™‚

But again, nothing like a deadline (read milestone) to improve yourself.

    Heeeeeeeeeeeeey!

Man you put a really big smile on my face! Sooo cool! There are some minor rhythm mistakes but you’ll get it down. I’m proud of you man!!!

    Keep rocking buddy!!!

Thanks Pavel! You’re right about the mistakes. To be honest, I’m currently practicing it at 100 bpm, but I decided to stretch myself for the recording and did it at 110 bpm. Not a good decision. šŸ˜Ž

only problem is that you don’t hold any of the notes. while most of the song is staccato
there are places where you need to hold he note and give a little vibrato. besides that
its great, its a really hard piece

    Nick, šŸ™‚

Rohan admitted that he recorded this a bit faster than perhaps he should’ve, which would explain the slight “note-duration-bailout” (as I call it!) and lack of vibrato (at times.) That being said, I still think Rohan did a very good job on such a demanding piece! (as you had correctly noted.) šŸ˜‰

    Hi Rohan, šŸ™‚

You know what I mean, right? I know that I definitely suffer from “N.D.B” whenever I try to play a little faster than I’m capable! That being said, I hope you realize that I was defending your (very good & brave) performance! (I think you understand my “note duration bailout” quote. After all, I’m a teacher, so I have a (sometimes bad) habit of putting a label on everything! – LOL!) šŸ˜® šŸ˜‰
