Hey Lyle, š
As I told you in the YT comments, GREAT job bro! Excellent melodies/phrasing and wonderful job dialing-in a sweet tone (I know that you mentioned to someone on YT that it took some “twiddling” on the ToneLab to get what you wanted, but I’d say that you got an excellent result!) š
BTW, I fiddled with the pole-pices in my RG1570’s Screamin’ Demon (I raised the bridge-side screws on the wound-strings E6, A5, and D4 and raised the neck-side allen-screws on the plain-strings G3, B2, and E1. Ya know – “Bite” for the power-chords and “tamed-treble” on the high-notes!) It’s getting sweet! Thanks again for your advice. If the high-end bothers me, I can always consider your 250K vol-pot-mod! š š
As a vote of encouragement to add a tremol-no to your JS1000, I am quite surprised that the difference in sustain/tone is even noticeable with the hardtail-mode! I thought that was gonna be one of those “propoganda” benefits that sounded good in theory, but was unnoticeable. However, it really does sound better in hardtail, and it does make sense! (NOT that you need help in the tone-department! – You ALWAYS sound good bro!) š š
TTYS!
