I currently have a Audigy2 ZS, and trying to record with my amp using a shure 57 mic.
But doesn’t seem to be recording like it want it. Do i need to crank my amp every time just to get a good recording, or would a different interface work better? I read something about the power that a mic needs, you can’t get from a sound card.
I thought the Audigy was a interface, but i guess it’s just a regular sound card.
How much of a difference will a interface make in tone/recording?
Will i still need to crank my amp?
