This is more of an “Oh my God” rant than anything. Perhaps some of you are deep in this as I am. After getting hit with a foot of snow here in Wisconsin as well as freezing rain on friday, I wake up to find it is 5 below outside WITHOUT the windchill. As the day progresses, I notice that the window next to my bed is covered with snow and ice. ON THE INSIDE! The wind gusts here are as high as 40-50mph and because of all of this blowing, snow is piling up everywhere. And now we are supposed to get another 4-5 inches either tonight or tomorrow.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo glad that my car is at the service center now. I’m sure if I were to leave it in my garage, the entire engine would have probably frozen over. If I wasn’t so damn broke and in need of money, I’d ditch it and get me a good car like a Cadillac or a Lincoln. Now THAT is how classy Italians like me roll. :p Unfortunately, because of the horrid weather, they can’t work on it till Monday, which means that I might not be able to get it until Tuesday.

Anyone else having to deal with this? I just want to make sure that I am not alone in my frustrations.

Yeah sure.. I know exactly what you’re talking about…. NOT šŸ˜€
I live in Israel… the lowest temperature we had till now is about 9c lol
and it barely rains…. and the snow.. What Snow?! I haven’t seen snow in years XD
and cars.. I’m 18 yrs old.. I don’t even own a car.. XD (though I do drive in one.. but I’m not paying for it)

    but who cares
I’ll give you frustration.. In January 8th I’ll join the army.. and on that spot, my life is over haha
I’m going to IAF – “flight course”, where I have to serve at least 12 years, while the first 3 yrs, are just one big course
that by now only 250 from the 20000 that tried to get in will begin.. and only 40-50 will finish
and while my friends that already joined the army go back home for weekends once a week..
I’ll get home for a weekend once a month or less..

Despite I really like to go on, defend my country, get to the best and most wanted spot in the army
get to fulfill my dreams from whenever I can remember myself… that means I will probably stop playing guitar
after 5 years of joy.. also stopped playing piano after 7 years
and stopped playing professional basketball after 13 yrs of playing..

too sad that the truth is, that in Israel, we will never be able to chose between continuing our lives
or joining the army in the name of stupid governments..
we just finished school.. all my friends, everybody I know (except for one close friend that luckily past all the tests for the IAF)

    still feel frustrated? =]

…not anymore. hahahahaha! Wow, I had no idea about that dude. I hope that you make it through everything in tact. Seriously, if I could I would have gone into the Marine Corps here to kinda live up to my grandfather who was a Marine, but due to my heath problems I would not get picked. Even if there was a draft, I would end up being a 4F.

But even so… winter blows! :p And since your going into the air force over there, when your all done you can pick me up and fly me over there for a little R&R. šŸ˜‰

    hahaha
Problem is, I’m what’s called “MeUtar Shayetet 13”, which means our “navy commando” got an eye on me..
Flight course is in first priority, but once I’ll fall from there, the commando will take me..
that’s not the problem.. the problem is that people that are “MeUtarim” (pinpoint) are making the tests in the course earlier
which means I might be out of the IAF in about a month XD that SUCKS!
I’ve been doing tests for the IAF in the last year and a half, and in a month I might be out of there.. šŸ™
that’s the most frustrating point in all of that.. but as I said, Who Cares..
I just do what I was told to and hope someday I’ll get out of there in one piece..
and who know, maybe the army will change me, maybe I will prefer to stay in it for 10 more years :p

    just kidding.. lol,
    Roie M.
