    Hey guys, I just got a video camera and I figured out how to use YouTube! I have been working on the Still Hurts lesson and so as a test of the camera, I recorded a cover of Still Hurts. I made a few minor mistakes but this was the best. I recorded the audio with the backing track in sonar and used the camera to record the video and then synced them up. Any criticism is welcomed and thank you for watching!!

    Nice work Cados…….I’m working on this tune myself so I know that this is NOT an Easy tune…….Here is what I have so far……

    KILLER JOB bro!!! šŸ˜Ž Seriously, that was “A-list” quality, and that is NOT an easy tune!!! šŸ˜®

    You have a really musical feel for all of the necessary “melodic-shred techniques” I.E: picking/staccato; legato; arpeggios/sweeping, as well as your overall excellent sense of time; articulation, and intonation [bending and otherwise.])

    Also, as AWESOME as Rick Graham is at EVERYTHING he does, (and that’s NOT an exaggeration AT ALL!) you’re really NOT far from the quality that he produced in his version/recording of this great song! Now that’s some “smoking-hot” company to keep my friend!!! šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜Ž

    Hey guys, thank you so much for your kind words and Mosjem, you’re version is awesome! You’re definitely on your way! It means a lot to me hearing all you fantastic players comment on the video and everyone has been nothing but supportive since i’ve been here. I will be making more videos soon including the recording of my new album starting soon so stay tuned.

    I think I will be doing a cover of scarified next, maybe try a split screen approach.
