So who has seen this movie? I just saw it last night in IMAX, and it was AWESOME! I will actually have to see it a couple more times to let it really sink in. But everything was top notch in this movie. Heath was incredible as the Joker, and everyone else stepped up their game as well. An amazing story about moral dilemma and the battle between good and evil.

GO SEE IT! And if you can, catch it in IMAX for sure.

    watched it tonight.

    stunning movie achievement.

the plot, the action, heath ledger as joker, everything worked amazing.
2 and a half hours of pure fun, adrenalin and breathtaking scenes.

a new era of batman begins.

I saw it on Monday, only cause the theater was too crowded over the weekend, and man… it really was incredible.

The thing that got me the most was Heath Ledger’s performance as the joker. I have never seen anyone so into their character as he was. It was incredible.

And of course, I can’t forget about the score, which was mind blowing. As the film wore on, I kept saying to myself “THIS is why Hans Zimmer is the man!” I will probably be buying the soundtrack off of Itunes.

The way they had Harvey in there for Two-Face really threw me in a loop.

So yeah, once it comes out on dvd, I’ll probably buy it, if I have money. If not, I’ll just download it.

    Saw it last week.

Definitely the best film this year.

Agreed, Heath’s performance was stunning in every way. Having said that, I can not wait to see his next/final film ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’.

The Harvey two face twist was also a great addition to the plot. Its a shame they had to kill him though. He could have been a good villan in future projects.

Kudos to Heath again, I hear he has been considered for several awards already.

If you ain’t seen this one…. go immediately. I plan to go see it again next week Gold Class šŸ˜€

    Mike.

Can’t wait ’til it hits Swedish cinemas!
RIP for Heath, such an unnessecary death
(as are all of these drug-related OD’s of yougn stars).

Keith coud dtruly have been one the greatest actors of his generation!

I was thinking that EXACT thing when he died.

Just saw it again. Man, what an awesome film. I actually liked it better the 2nd time. To me, Nolan’s Batman movies get better and better with each viewing. I’ve seen Batman Begins dozens of times and I like it more and more each time.

The Dark Knight just owns. Such a cool crime saga and drama. And the action is just excellent. Heath and Aaron are two of the best villians I’ve seen. Those guys put up phenomenal performances. And of course Bale, Caine, Freeman, and Oldman were all great. It was cool to see Oldman in deeper character too. I’m really looking forward to the next one. It’ll be interesting to see who the next villian(s) will be.

And has anyone seen the box office numbers? This movie is breaking ever record in sight!

The last time I saw a film was 5 years ago really. But this one.. too many of my friends recommend it. I might really go to see it. I’ve never seen any Batman film before, though. Still worth watching it?

I saw it last Saturday. Incredible performance from Ledger – the first superhero film that has been any good (except Batman Begins). Too violent for the rating though – 12A! I don’t think you want kids seeing all the knife stuff, particularly with the problems in the UK right now. (I’ll get off my soapbox)

Should have gone the whole hog with swearing etc and made it 18.

Can’t wait to go and watch it again!

I also heard about that 12A rating thing. Yeah it’s definitely not a kid’s movie. The violence and villian characters are way too dark and heavy for young ages.

“Do I really look like a man with a plan, Harvey? I don’t have a plan. The mob has plans, the cops have plans. you know what I am, Harvey? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldnt know what to do with one if I caught one. I just DO things. I’m a wrench in the gears. I HATE plans. Yours, theirs, everyone’s. Maroni has plans, Gordon has plans. Schemers trying to control their worlds. I am not a schemer. I show schemers how pathetic their attempts to control things really are. So when I say that what happened to you and your girlfriend wasnt personal, you know I’M telling the truth”*Gives Dent Gun*”It’s a schemer who put you where you are. You were a schemer. You had plans. Look where it got you. I just did what I do best-I took your plan and turned it on itself. Look what I have done to this city with a few drums of gas and a couple bullets. Nobody panics when the expected people got killed. Nobody panics when things go according to plan, even if the plans are horrifying. If I tell the press that tomorrow a gangbanger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will get blown up, nobody panics. But when I say one little old mayor will die, everyone loses their minds!! Introduce a little anarcy, you upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I AM AN AGENT OF CHAOS. And you know the thing about chaos, Harvey. It’s fair.”

I really think Heaths Joker is rivaling the madness of Anthony Hopkins, but in a way, the Joker is ahead of him. Hannibal is a schemer, Joker is not. In essence, evil is madness; basically, Joker is possibly the most convincing villain of all time. Not to mention Heath’s performance. It really is among the elite of prestations I have ever seen.

Joker: How many of your friends did i kill?
    Cop: Six.
    Joker: [mouths] six!
