i wanted the guitar to be based on a suhr standard (the one guthrie govan uses). it has H-S-H pickups, plus the two humbuckers can be splited.
the pickups are seymour duncan 59 on the bridger and neck, and a suhr fl on the middle position, plus the two humbuckers can be splited.
we used the variax 700 bridge. the tone knob and pickup selector are shared between both sistems, and there is a volume knob for the variax and one for the pickups.
the tuning machines are sperzels, with the locking system.
the result is the most amazing guitar i’ve ever played
