Hi guys – first post here – just joined up! Glad to be here and congrats on this great site!

This season I shall be mostly listening to George Bellas. Having only recently discovered his playing I am blown away – such technique, amazing sound, great musicality. His latest “Planetary Alignment” is never off. Great drums too from Marco Minneman!

Almost Again by SYL. I’ve been on a bit of a Devin/SYL bender for the last week or so.

    Pink Floyd – Sheep

I’m a pretty hard Floyd fan, they always seem to put me in a good mood.

    Land Of Confusion- Disturbed.

This version has really grown on me. Nothing against genesis at all, but I can’t stand Phil Collins.

Amen to that, Phil Collins is like my musical antithesis.

NP: Wings For Marie pt 1 – Tool

NP: Circle of Life- Elton John

(this one should have won the Grammy. I mean, can you feel the love tonight is great, but in all fairness, this is just a better song)

    Catharsis – Here and Now.

No, not the russian power metal band, but a tech. metal band from 1995 that only released one album, as far as I know. Worth checking out if you’re into tech. metal.

Pat Metheny & Brad Mehldau – A Night Away. (from the album ‘quartet’)

This album has to be my new all time favourite. Highly reccomended. This song in particular, and most of the album, has some of the most emotional and powerfull improvisation I have ever heard.
