    Hello everybody

    My name’s Lyle Watt, I’m 15 (16 in 5 days lol) and I’m from Thurso in Scotland – right up at the very top – scotlandmap2mh5.gif
    (it’s the bit in the red circle)

    I came 2nd in the Guitar Idol 2008 finals, where I met Tom Quayle and Rick Graham, and I found this place through them.

    I’m in a band called MegaWatt (cheesy, I know!) and we’ve done a few local gigs. nothing much though cos the music scene here is nonexistant, unfortunately

    I’m a massive fan of Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert and John Petrucci, as well as acoustic guitarists like Michael Hedges, Tommy Emmanuel and Andy McKee.

    Not going too bad, just started teaching a few weeks ago (need money for gear lol)

    Hey Lyle!

    Great to have you here man! I saw some of your vids when the Guitar Idol thing was going on. Excellent stuff! You did a great job at the show.

    And your band’s name “MegaWatt” is awesome haha. Love the play on words.
