In this final exercise we're really making life very hard for your internal metronome. This one I struggled with and found an area where I need to do some significant practice!
Now we're going to set our click to represent beat 2 of the first bar and then nothing in bar 2.
It can be represented as follows

This leaves a pretty huge chasm of space between each click and gives your internal metronome many beats to fill in at our perceived tempo of 164bpm!
One problem you'll have here is that you won't be able to slow your metronome down enough to click only on this beat. There's a few ways around this problem. The first is to use the click track I've provided at the end of the tutorial which is set up to sound exactly correctly for this exercise at 164bpm. The other thing you could do is set up a sequencer to play a snare hit or some other percussive sound on beat 2 of every other bar at 164bpm. This what I did in Logic pro.
