The second half of the solo, as mentioned in the introductory video, contains more linear and minor sounding licks. It opens with some tricky scale fragments that should be treated "loosely" as opposed to being locked in completely to the 16th note notation it's written as. Listen to the original track and try to demonstrate the same "floating" feel. The solo continues on with some quick 16th note alternate picking licks, a slow dotted eighth feel ascend, and then finishes with a tricky half legato/half picking A harmonic minor scale.
