3 string sweeps
We’re going to start out with 3 string sweep shapes. I’m providing you with the essential shapes you will need to get started, and from here you should be able to experiment and find out some favorite arpeggios of your own!
I pick 3 sweeps a bit different than most people. Instead of picking the note on the B string I actually hammer-on the note with quite a bit of pressure, then start the ascend portion of the arpeggio with a down stroke on the G string. Experiment with both techniques and use whatever feels most comfortable to you.
The lick at the end goes through all of the shapes that I showed you, but applies them in a way that you might use them in a song.
