Hey Folks! š
I’m 99% sure that I’m going to install an All-Parts Tremol-No onto my Ibanez RG1570. I know that Lyle Watt mentioned using one recently, so I guess my questions are these:
1. How painless/easy was the installation?
2. How do you like the Tremol-No’s performance?
3. Do you notice an improvement in sustain, as some have claimed?
I would be psyched if Lyle and/or anyone else chimes-in on these questions! š
Also, I’m contemplating changing my RG1570’s bridge-pickup. Any recommendations? I’m looking for something that has LOTS of sustain and midrange (for leads), but dynamic enough to “clean-up” when rolling the volume knob back!
Thanks guys! š

Now how’s this for a quick reply!
Do what the man says lol!
I haven’t heard of Keeler pedals, although I have heard of Keeley! I’ll have to check them out.
Hey Lyle, š
Thanks so much for that!!! Great idea by KG! He should know, right?!? (LOL!) I’ll try that for sure. I guess I’m glad that he immediately knew what I meant, (when you explained my symptom to him) so that tells me that he’s heard that (well..he said he experienced it himself, but my guess is that others have asked about this as well!!!) š
Thanks for taking the time to help me out bro! You’re a good person, so if there’s any way tht I can help you with anything (I doubt I could help you with guitar playing as you seem to have a pretty good handle on that! (LOL!) But like I said before, if you ever need to contact Rob Keeler re:his pedals, or if you want my opinion (I’ve got plenty of those!) on anything, or if you want my theoretical analysis of any music, I’d be glad to help! š
Back to the WOODSHED for me! š®

Hey Lyle, š
You’re a funny guy! š
Actually I forgot that I even told you that I had a Levinson R-4 Blade, (I actually have two!) I’ll tell you what: You give me you’re right-hand technique, and you can have either of my Levinson Blade R-4’s – EVEN SWAP!!! (LOL!) :p:o:rolleyes::cool:;)
Update: I bought my Duncan Screamin’ Demon today (I got a good deal too!) However, I won’t have time to install it until Wednesday, so I’ll let you know what I think maybe on Thursday! š

Hey Lyle, š
Again, you are a funny guy! In response to your statement that your “right-hand technique sucks.” Well, I appreciate your being humble, but I watched your vid (the one you posted after you got your last new acoustic guitar – I forget the model?) Anyways, in that vid, you busted out some Tommy Emmanuel (Tommy can play anything, but the particular tune you covered was of the flatpicking variety, and bro, you were BURNING!!! So even though I don’t believe your self-assessment, I do think that being humble (especially at your age!) will bode well for your continued improvement (as frightening as that is!!!) Build confidence, but try to NEVER lose that HUMILITY & INNOCENCE! š š
BTW, if I thought flying to Australia for a “POWER-LESSON” with you could “magically” transfer your right-hand technique to me, I’d quit my teaching job and book a flight TODAY!!! (LOL!) :o:p:D
The truth is, I realize that there are NO SHORTCUTS, so I’m NOT looking for any! I actually enjoy the process of defining my weaknesses and attacking them! Some day when I grow up (after all I’m ONLY 43-years-old!) I’m gonna be a pretty good guitar player! Until then, “atleast I’m enjoying the ride!” š
Later!

Thanks man. I still think my right hand technique is pretty bad, but if other people like it, that’s a start!
BTW, if you were flying to australia, you’d be going a few thousand miles in the wrong direction lol. It’s a long way between Australia and Scotland……..

Hey Lyle, š
I’m sorry bro! I get all you guys that are “east of the pond (…err…uhmm..Atlantic Ocean!!!) mixed up!!! No offense! I actually do remember when I first discovered your talents that your bio correctly cited Scotland as your hometown! Ya know why I screwed that up, don’tcha?!? Cuz’ of Tommy Emmanuel! I mentioned your picking in regards to one of his tunes, and I lumped you and Tommy together (an association I’m sure you don’t mind people making!!! – LOL!) š
Well, if it makes you feel any better, even though I was born, raised, and reside in Massachusetts – USA, I am 100% Irish! As much as I’d like to visit the homeland of my ancestors someday, I’ve never been there (Ireland.) Don’t worry though, I’m NOT so stupid as to lump Ireland and Scotland together! Now that might offend you, right?!? (LOL!) š
