Hey everyone! Thanks for watching my previous cover videos and now, I would like to present you with a video of me playing a recent composition. Its a short etude for solo guitar (and metronome) and its got a lot of arpeggios, tapping, sliding and generally difficult stuff to do get in one straight take so there are one or two mistakes.
I hope you all watch it and enjoy it. If anyone is interested, I have the guitarpro file already written so let me know if you would like it, thanks!

Now on to the shred this too entry!
Hey Ryan, š
As I said over on YouTube, GREAT JOB! I’m gonna “go-out-on-a-limb-here” and predict that Rick Graham is gonna love this!!! š It just seems like something that he’d be all over (although I can’t/won’t speak on his behalf! :o)
I know you were a bit self-critical regarding a few mistakes, but I didn’t think they detracted from the beauty and vibe of the piece to be honest! Besides, thats a “boatload” of stuff to remember AND execute!!! š® š I guess the only thing I might’ve considered tweaking (assuming I had the skills to play this piece…which I currently DO NOT – LOL! :o) was your tone, which although excellent/effective on the higher-pitched plain/unwound-strings, I thought was a bit mushy/spongy on the lower-pitched/wound-strings. (I think it’s just a “neck-position-humbucker-thing” when using lots-of-gain IMO?) I might’ve considered scooping-out some low-mids/bass and/or dialing-back a bit of the gain. Again, this is nitpicky-level stuff, and overall it DID NOT detract from my enjoyment of the piece and your performance. I just thought you might want a bit of constructive-criticism/ideas on a way to MAYBE improve the tone in future recordings…That all said, tone is a very subjective-thing, so screw-me if you love your tone…I’m just a “babbling-fool!”:o…..Sorry…I digress…must….shut…..up….NOW! š

Man thats great! I think that makes for a great study in some of the techniques you mentioned. Really looking forward to your shred this take!
I’d like to see the GuitarPro file…
Hey Bill, thanks a lot for watching! In regards to the tone, I know exactly what you mean! I’ve been messing around with different mic placements and eq settings on the mixer trying to get my low end to sound correct and I agree, its a little muddy on the neck pickup. I have to get lucky and find that sweet spot! Thanks for reassuring me about the playing, it got to the point where I got bored of doing more takes and I just took the best one I had haha.
Rick, thanks for watching and the kind words, it means a lot and says a lot about this website and its instructors when they actively interact with the students. One of the many reasons I love it here. PS. How do you add a hyperlink to a signature?
And Mandz, if you message me your email address I can send you the file, thanks for watching!

Hey Ryan, š
I’d be very happy if you include me on that list of people to e-mail the TAB to! Check your Private Messages here at Infinite Guitar for my e-mail info, OK? š
I’d really appreciate it! š
