Well varied throughout, excellent job Tom. Only critique I’d give is to try and implement a distinct theme/melody in there that’s super memorable. Even in improv I think it’s nice to have a “chorus” of sorts where you can dance around a theme. I know it was just a snippet of the whole song though so you may have actually already done that. 🙂 Great job.
Thanks Sean. Always nice to hear some constructive advise. I´ve been meaning to focus more on my improvisation skills, but with fulltime teaching job, wife and two kids it is hard to find the time to practice. Hopefully when the kids are older I can get some time in.
