Introduction
Hey guys, this month, I wanted to explore some tricks inspired by numerous players in the category of "outside phrasing". Meaning, small things that can be executed which could spice things up in the area of phrasing, and sounding unique.
We'll be experimenting with three different techniques, bending, sliding as well as regular ol' scale-play in "unconventional" ways. Each technique will sound characteristic to some well-known players, so remember to try to learn these techniques as tools for expanding your own personal phrasing-repetoire.
So without further a-do, enjoy!
