I think it doesn’t have enough catch to be an instrumental. I think it sounded too much like an improv solo over most of the song if you get what I mean?
Sounded cool. I think you should get one phrase that you like, stick it in, repeat it, but with melodic or rhythmic differences to make it sound different and then have a different part where you can go nuts with the solo, then finish with a different phrase.
I did enjoy thel listen though. I think the drums sounded cool too.right on dude, that is cool.that is basically what it is…an improv solo with many parts….thanks for your constructive criticism……at least you are honest.
š You’re welcome. As I said, I did really like it. The tone is really quite cool too. Too much gain in parts, but in the first minute, I like most of the tone. š
What you using to get that tone?sorry for double post, but just remembered. I think it’s got a ‘halloween’ feel to it from 2:10 š
that is halloween at the end there.the beginning tone i am using studio devil pro….
ah right. hought it sounded familiar
Cool stuff man! I liked it, some great playing and ideas in there. Like DistortedDiggaz said, it could be more polished structure-wise. However maybe you don’t want it too polished with a name like “Web of Confusion”. š Good stuff man, thanks for sharing.
thank you Sean,i really appreciate you comment,by the way man killer lessons you have bro.really enjoying them….thanks…..
Nice riffin’ and playing man- I echo what the others said if you intend to polish and refine- but as it stands right now- some very cool playing and a really fun listen! Cheers and post up some more! m/
