In part 2, we're going to prep the preamp of the amp for use with the Graphic EQ. You'll notice that some of the things I'm doing here may seem a bit extreme but that is only because we haven't yet added in the EQ to balance it out. Try to get the tightest, cleanest sound possible that still feels aggressive and playable. Don't worry about not having enough bottom end, we'll add that in the next step. You can also add something like an overdrive into the front if you need further tightness or you have low output pickups, but for the hot metal pickups in my PRS, that wasn't necessary.
