Alright! Here we are at the first part of this piece! The whole exercise is played 100% alternate picking so you won't have to worry about some fancy picking patterns. Instead we'll concentrate on left hand fingering and the tricky areas.
So the first problem is barring 2 strings but playing one note at a time. The way to play it is described in the video. The general idea is to lift the tip of the barring finger once you have played it to kind of mute the string in case you hit it later.
Other than that, there are no tricky areas anymore in this part so we are free to move to the next part of the lesson.
